Groundwater resource management in Ontario has evolved from the establishment of water well record submissions from the Ontario Department of Mines in the 1940’s to the on-going watershed studies under the Source Water Protection.

Christopher Munro and Heather Brodie-Brown, hydrogeologists from the Ontario Ministry of Environment, will give their perspective of the history, current status, and future of groundwater resource management as it pertains to Ontario.
