Integra Bladder Pumps

The Solinst Model 407 Integra Bladder Pump is excellent for high quality VOC sampling. It allows consistent high quality samples from all types of applications.
The Teflon® bladder is very easily replaced in the field. All components are easy to disassemble for thorough decontamination.
Solinst Bladder Pumps have high-flow valves, and zero-submergence capability to allow complete emptying of wells. It is unique in that it can be easily converted into the gas drive Double Valve Pump.

WaTerra Pump

Low cost makes the Solinst Model 404 WaTerra Pump ideal for dedication. A simple footvalve and length of polyethylene tubing constitutes the basic system, and this is inexpensive to dedicate in a well.
Sampling to depths of 250 ft. (80 m). can be performed by hand with the inexpensive hand pump handle, or for efficiency and speed with an electric or gasoline pump controller.
The WaTerra Pump is suitable for purging, sampling and is excellent for developing wells, as it easily handles heavily laden silty water.

Point Source Bailers

The Model 429 stainless steel Point-Source Bailers have an easy sample release device and dual check valves, top and bottom. The check valves prevent water higher in the well from mixing with the sample during retrieval.
Various diameters and lengths are available. The smallest diameter is 0.5" (12.7 mm). An optional reel is available for storing the wireline.

Discrete Interval Sampler

The Model 425 Discrete Interval Sampler is excellent for obtaining samples from below oil layers and at discrete depths in a well.
The reel mounted stainless steel sampler is pressurized with a hand pump before entering the well. No water flows through the sampler on the way down the well. When the pressure is released, hydrostatic pressure allows the sampler to fill with water directly from the sampling zone.
A convenient sample release device is included, along with a pressure/vent switch to apply and release the pressure. The sampler is easily decontaminated without the need for tools.
A transportable version allows transportation back to the laboratory with the sample under "in-situ" pressure.

Filters

In-line disposable filters by Gelman are easy to use and excellent for the preparation of samples for dissolved metals analysis.
The high capacity 0.45 micron filter has a 700 cm2 effective filtration area and does not require a bulky filter holder. Supplied with a single nylon barb for 5/8" x 1/2" tubing.

Model 428 Disposable Bailer

Low cost disposable bailer is made of translucent high density polyethylene (HDPE) and holds more than one litre. The rigid body will not bend when pouring. The PVC check ball is secured in the nozzle so that it will not roll to the other end of the tube. Both regular and low flow sample release devices are available. Top and bottom are both tapered to prevent hangups in the well.

VOA Bottle Filler

For best sampling results, especially when sampling for volatiles using the Peristaltic Pump, it is advisable to collect samples in-line, ahead of the pump. This avoids the stripping of volatiles from the sample.
The Solinst Model 470 VOA Bottle Filler is designed to be attached, in-line ahead of purge water discharge. It holds 3 standard size 40 ml bottles.

Peristaltic Pump

Solinst Peristaltic Pumps allow vacuum pumping or pressure delivery of liquids or gases. They are ideal for sample removal from shallow wells and surface water.
The mechanical peristaltic operation is effective to depths of 28 ft (8.5m) at sea level, being limited only by the suction lift limit.
The Solinst Peristaltic Pump has a variable pumping rate and can deliver from 60 ml/min in sample mode to as much as 3 litres/min. in the purge mode.
The pump is very compact and easy to use with a handle and easy-access controls on the top of the pump. The metal case is extremely robust, water resistant and has no grates or openings.
