Groundwater Samplers

410 Peristaltic Pump

Compact and lightweight, the Solinst Peristaltic Pump is designed for field use. Ideal for water and vapor sampling from shallow wells and surface water. One easy-access control enables reversible flow and various speeds, which allows high or low-flow sampling. Pumping rates vary depending tubing size. Standard 5/8" OD (16 mm) silicon tubing delivers from 120 ml/min to almost 3.5 L/min.

407 Integra Bladder Pump

Available in stainless steel or PVC, Solinst Integra Bladder Pumps provide consistent, accurate, reliable groundwater samples in various applications. Ensuring no air/water contact during operation, pumps are ideal for VOC sampling. Teflon bladders are guaranteed for 10 years, inexpensive polyethylene also available. Pumps are effective at any angle, to depths of 500 ft (150 m), and are ideal for low flow sampling.

408 Double Valve Pump

Solinst Double Valve Pumps are gas drive pumps providing high quality, consistent samples, and excellent VOC sample results. Available in standard sizes of 5/8" and 1.66" diameters up to 2ft long, stainless steel or PVC, pumps are suitable for applications of almost any depth and diameter. Portable versions available and can be fitted with packers to control flow.

408M Micro Double Valve Pump

The Micro Double Valve Pump has a remarkably small and flexible design. It is a pneumatic pump that uses coaxial Teflon tubing to give high quality samples. It is small enough to fit in 1/2" (13 mm) tubing and channels of the Solinst Model 403 CMT Systems, as its diameter is only 3/8" (10 mm). Ideal for low flow monitoring in narrow applications.

464 Electronic Pump Control Unit

Model 464 Electronic Pump Control Unit outputs 125psi and uses 4 AA batteries lasting 100 hours of normal use. It is fully automatic with preset sample modes and saves 99 user-created flow rates. Can operate manually if your batteries run out. Provides faster purge rates and low flow control to ensure a representative sample.

466 Electronic Pump Control Unit

For deeper applications, the Solinst Model 466 Electronic Control Unit outputs 250 psi. 8 AA batteries provide up to 30 hours of use. The Unit is fully automatic with preset sample modes that users can also adjust manually for optimum flow rates. It can provide low flow sampling and higher purge rates.

404 Waterra Pump

The Waterra Pump is a simple, reliable inertial pump that provides a cost effective sampling option for groundwater monitoring. The pump consists of a riser tube fitted with a one-way foot valve. It can be easily operated manually, or by using a surface pumping mechanism. The tubing and foot valves come in various sizes suitable for varying well diameters and sampling applications.

425 Discrete Interval Sampler

Model 425 is a stainless steel sampler, with LDPE tubing mounted on a convenient reel. Discrete interval sampling is ideal for obtaining truly representative water samples from below floating product layers, or for obtaining samples of the product itself. Can also be used to profile open bodies of water and boreholes, and to collect samples from distinct levels or points of inflow.

429 Point Source Bailer

The Solinst Point Source Bailer is stainless steel and has dual ball valves, top and bottom. This prevents a sample collected at a discrete depth from mixing with water from other depths during retrieval. It is a simple and cost effective device for aquifer profiling, and collecting samples from distinct levels. Purging and disposal of purge volume can be avoided.

428 Disposable Bailer

Model 428 is a low cost disposable bailer, made of translucent high density polyethylene (HDPE) that holds more than one litre of sample. The rigid body will not bend, and the check-ball is secured in the nozzle. Top and bottom of the bailer are tapered to prevent hang-ups in the well. The translucent body allows the sample to be visually inspected.

800 Low Pressure Packer

Simple, inexpensive packers inflate by hand pump and are available in 2 sizes. Designed for pneumatic inflation at pressures from 20-50 psi (140-345 kPa), are primarily used in 2" and 4" (50 mm and 100 mm) monitoring wells and other suitable smooth boreholes and wells. Convenient and easy to use in combination with Solinst Accessories for various sampling and monitoring applications.

860 Disposable In-Line Filter

Solinst supplies in-line disposable filters specifically designed for the preparation of groundwater samples for dissolved metals analysis and for filtering large volumes of turbid groundwater. These filters are any easy effective way to meet the filtration requirements of the US EPA, as they incorporate a 0.45µm membrane into a disposable device.
