Solinst presents:
High-Resolution Groundwater Profiling and Monitoring for Cost-Effective, Accurate, and Detailed Results

Understanding contaminant migration pathways, concentration gradients, and monitoring these over time, is key to a successful contaminated site cleanup. To achieve this, high-resolution groundwater profiling and monitoring is essential.

This workshop will present tools that can be used to gain the detailed data required, and how their principles and operation allow this in an accurate and cost-effective manner.

The Drive-Point Profiler is designed to be a primary site assessment tool. It provides an easy, minimal disturbance approach to the initial site investigation. It enables the collection of groundwater samples from multiple depths in a single drive/drilling location, allowing high-resolution sampling in every borehole. This allows you to decide on the best placement of long-term monitoring systems, such as a CMT Multilevel Groundwater Monitoring System.

CMT® (Continuous Multichannel Tubing) can be used for long-term sampling and water level monitoring at multiple depths across a site. Each well can monitor up to seven discrete zones. In addition, transects of installations accurately delineate the extent and movement of contaminants across a site. This provides a 3D characterization of vertically shallow or deep contamination. This data allows remediation strategies to be targeted more precisely, focusing efforts in the most effective manner.

Once areas of contamination have been identified, Waterloo Emitters provide a simple, low cost method to enhance remediation of contaminated groundwater using oxygen. They ultimately create the ideal aerobic conditions for successful bioremediation. Remediation efforts can be monitored using the existing CMT Systems, providing detailed results of the cleanup.
