Le feutre de charbon actif est plac\u00e9 contre la paroi du trou de forage lors de l&rsquo;\u00e9version d&rsquo;un Blank Liner, ou de l&rsquo;installation par des tiges de pouss\u00e9e directe pour les applications dans les morts-terrains. <\/p>\n<p>Une fois plac\u00e9 contre la paroi du trou de forage, le feutre de charbon actif \u00e9vacue les contaminants dans les espaces interstitiels et les flux de fractures par diffusion. Comme le processus de diffusion se d\u00e9roule dans un trou de forage scell\u00e9, les concentrations enregistr\u00e9es pendant la technique ne sont pas influenc\u00e9es par la contamination crois\u00e9e et\/ou les probl\u00e8mes de fuite. La pression exerc\u00e9e par le Blank Liner sur la paroi du trou de forage (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 1,5 m \u00e0 3 m de pression d&rsquo;eau) cr\u00e9e un joint solide qui emp\u00eache les \u00e9coulements pr\u00e9f\u00e9rentiels de se d\u00e9velopper.  <\/p>\n<p>Les craintes d&rsquo;influence par contact avec l&rsquo;eau de forage sont lev\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la protection fournie par la couverture hydrophobe NAPL Flute et aux proc\u00e9dures rapides d&rsquo;installation et de retrait, qui r\u00e9duisent \u00e0 quelques secondes les temps d&rsquo;exposition \u00e0 l&rsquo;intervalle.
