Hieruit volgt dat druk binnen een gas of vloeistof in alle richtingen werkt, loodrecht op het ontvangend oppervlak. In dit geval is dat ontvangend oppervlak de druksensor die loodrecht op de lengte van de Levelogger is gemonteerd \u2013 te herkennen aan de \u201eMeasurement Line\u201c die zich direct boven de inlaatgaten aan het uiteinde van de Logger bevindt.
