Terwijl de liner uitzet, bedekt hij geleidelijk de stromingstrajecten. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Wanneer de liner begint af te dalen in het boorgat, zijn alle stroombanen open, wat resulteert in de hoogste daalsnelheid. Door deze snelheid te vermenigvuldigen met de doorsnede van het boorgat &#8211; verfijnd met een schuifmaatlog &#8211; kan het debiet van het boorgat voor elk interval worden bepaald (zie Afbeelding 3). <\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Aan het begin van het profiel heeft het berekende debiet betrekking op het hele boorgat. Naarmate de liner de stromingspaden afsluit, wordt de stroomsnelheid van het boorgat verminderd. De dieptes in het boorgat waar een vermindering in de stroomsnelheid optreedt, geven de locaties van de stromingstrajecten aan en de mate van deze vermindering dient als maat voor de stroomsnelheid.
