m\u00e5le turbiditet?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Turbiditet er en indikasjon p\u00e5 hvor mye lys som passerer gjennom en vanns\u00f8yle. Klart vann har lav turbiditet, mens vann med mye suspendert stoff har h\u00f8y turbiditet. <\/p>\n<p>Turbiditet m\u00e5les av flere grunner. For det f\u00f8rste er turbiditet en grov indikator p\u00e5 den estetiske verdien av en vannforekomst &#8211; en elv med h\u00f8y turbiditet ser gj\u00f8rmete og misfarget ut. H\u00f8y turbiditet er en viktig \u00e5rsak til at en elv blir oppf\u00f8rt p\u00e5 TMDL-listen.  <\/p>\n<p>For det andre maksimerer lav turbiditet gjennomstr\u00f8mningen av sollyset som er n\u00f8dvendig for fotosyntetisk produktivitet &#8211; klare innsj\u00f8er vil ha h\u00f8yere biologisk produktivitet fordi et minimum av sollyset blokkeres av svevepartikler.<\/p>\n<p>For det tredje reduserer h\u00f8y turbiditet muligheten for h\u00f8yere livsformer, som fisk, til \u00e5 finne f\u00f8de og reprodusere seg. P\u00e5 den annen side gj\u00f8r lav turbiditet de mindre fiskene mer utsatt for predasjon. <\/p>\n<p>Endringer i langtidstrender for turbiditet kan v\u00e6re et tegn p\u00e5 at det er behov for mer detaljerte kjemiske unders\u00f8kelser av vannet og forurensningskildene.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hvordan m\u00e5les turbiditet?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>I naturlig vann m\u00e5les turbiditet oftest ved hjelp av en optisk sensor i henhold til ISO 7027-standarden &#8211; mengden lys som spres av partikler i 90 grader i forhold til en infrar\u00f8d lysstr\u00e5le. I sv\u00e6rt rent vann er det lite lys som spres, og turbiditetsverdien er lav. I grumsete vann blir mye lys spredt av svevepartikler, og turbiditetsverdien er h\u00f8y.  <\/p>\n<p>Det er minst fem problemer med turbiditetsm\u00e5ling:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Turbiditet har ingen analytisk definisjon, s\u00e5 det finnes ingen m\u00e5te \u00e5 fastsl\u00e5 om en turbiditetsavlesning er &laquo;korrekt&raquo;.<\/li>\n<li>Det er betydelig spillerom i designspesifikasjonen ISO 7027, s\u00e5 selv sensorer som er i samsvar med ISO 7027, kan gi forskjellige m\u00e5linger.<\/li>\n<li>Det finnes flere m\u00e5ter \u00e5 linearisere sensorutgangen p\u00e5, blant annet ved \u00e5 matche Hach 2100-turbidimeteret, matche fortynninger av formazin og matche fortynninger av standarder med polymerperler.<\/li>\n<li>Det finnes flere kalibreringsl\u00f8sninger, blant annet formazin, polymerperler og noen f\u00e5 tilpassede l\u00f8sninger som er formulert av enkelte produsenter.<\/li>\n<li>Det finnes et dusin eller flere enheter for turbiditetsm\u00e5ling, inkludert NTU (nefelometrisk turbiditetsenhet), FTU (formazinturbiditetsenhet), NTMU (nefelometrisk turbiditetsmultibeam-enhet), FAU (formazindempingsenhet) og FNU (formazinnefelometriske enheter) osv. som gj\u00f8r det vanskelig \u00e5 sammenligne turbiditetsdatabaser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De fleste multiparameterinstrumenter bruker ISO 7027, og rapporterer i FNU eller NTU. Materiale (alger, sediment osv.) som samler seg p\u00e5 turbiditetssensorens optiske overflater, kan imidlertid ikke skilles fra materiale i vannet, og derfor har de fleste turbiditetssensorer avt\u00f8rkere for \u00e5 rengj\u00f8re vinduet\/vinduene. Turbiditetssensorer krever ikke noe regelmessig vedlikehold, annet enn rengj\u00f8ring, sporadisk utskifting av vindusviskere og kalibrering. Utdataene fra Eurekas turbiditetssensor kan modifiseres, slik at de blir sammenlignbare med data du allerede har samlet inn med en tidligere brukt sensor &#8211; eller kanskje en sensor fra en modell som fortsatt er i bruk. Dette gj\u00f8res ved hjelp av Manta-programvarens &laquo;egendefinerte parameter&raquo;-funksjon. Selv om det ikke forventes en merkbar forskyvning, gir dette en m\u00e5te \u00e5 rapportere forventede verdier p\u00e5, basert p\u00e5 historiske turbiditetsdata.       <\/p>\n<p><strong>Solinst Eurekas turbiditetssensor<\/strong> bruker en beskjeden filtreringsfunksjon for \u00e5 fjerne datatopper (b\u00e5de positive og negative) for\u00e5rsaket av relativt store objekter, som bobler og bladrester, som vanligvis ikke regnes som turbiditetspartikler, og som ikke skal vises i turbiditetsdata. Filtreringsperioden (fem sekunder) er kort, noe som sikrer at de sanne turbiditetstrendene i naturlig vann blir n\u00f8yaktig bevart. <\/p>\n<p>Viskerelementet i Solinst Eurekas turbiditetssensor er konstruert som en vindusvisker; andre produsenters viskere er vanligvis absorberende pads eller b\u00f8rster, og det er st\u00f8rre sannsynlighet for at de tar med seg grus som riper opp sensorens optiske vindu. Eurekas turbiditetssensorvisker kan enkelt skiftes ut til en symbolsk kostnad. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Totalt suspendert t\u00f8rrstoff (TSS)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Det finnes ingen direkte m\u00e5te \u00e5 m\u00e5le TSS p\u00e5, fordi partikler av suspendert stoff (SS) finnes i s\u00e5 mange forskjellige st\u00f8rrelser, former og farger. Men hvis SS-situasjonen er relativt stabil, dvs. at SS ikke best\u00e5r av sm\u00e5 leirpartikler den ene dagen og store organiske partikler den neste, kan du lage et diagram som viser sammenhengen mellom TSS- og turbiditetsdata. <\/p>\n<p>M\u00e5l turbiditeten i en liter av det &laquo;typiske&raquo; vannet ditt, og bestem deretter TSS ved hjelp av konvensjonelle laboratoriemetoder. Deretter fortynner du den opprinnelige vannpr\u00f8ven med 50 % avionisert vann og gjentar turbiditets-TSS-analysene. Til slutt fortynner du den fortynnede pr\u00f8ven med ytterligere 50 %, og gjentar turbiditets-TSS-analysene. Du har n\u00e5 tre turbiditetsm\u00e5linger, hver med et tilsvarende TSS-tall. Hvis du er heldig, finner du et line\u00e6rt forhold mellom turbiditet og TSS. Turbiditet er en indikasjon p\u00e5 hvor mye lys som passerer gjennom en vanns\u00f8yle. Klart vann har lav turbiditet, mens vann med mye suspendert stoff har h\u00f8y turbiditet. Turbiditet m\u00e5les av flere grunner. For det f\u00f8rste er turbiditet en grov indikator p\u00e5 den estetiske verdien av en vannforekomst &#8211; en elv med h\u00f8y turbiditet ser gj\u00f8rmete og misfarget ut.
