The Anti-fouling kit with the replaceable copper gauze has helped improve my turbidity data significantly. In highly productive streams and/or rivers, my Manta system would often times end up with loose vegetation wrapped around the turbidity sensor wiper. This would give me days or weeks worth of bad data until I could go out and remove the offending weeds . After installing the copper gauze, I have consistently more accurate turbidity data that requires removing far fewer false data points in post processing”
